In response to the current situation, Sellers Insurance Agency has implemented our business continuity plan to ensure uninterrupted service to our agents and policyholders, while taking measures to contain the spread of COVID-19:
- All members of our team that need to work remotely have been setup to do so and we have the systems in place to provide the same high level of agent/policyholder service currently offered. Our phone system, policy administration and email are cloud-based and this will allow us to operate without interruption.
- We have asked any employees who fall into a high-risk category to stay home.
- We have suspended all in-person agency visits but have asked our marketing representatives to replace these with phone calls, web conferences and email contacts to support our agents.
- Our management team is meeting regularly and will continue to review guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to make future decisions based on the most current information available.
